According to this contract, which was signed in the presence of a group of board members and senior executive and technical managers of the parties, Iran Marine Facilities Company is one of the companies with knowledge and experience in the construction and installation of marine platforms, design, purchase, construction, loading. and the installation of the jacket of the Farzad-B common gas field becomes operational.
Farrokh Alikhani; On the sidelines of the signing of this contract, the CEO of Petropars Group, referring to the signing of the memorandum of understanding for the construction of the Farzad-B project jacket during the 27th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition between Petropars Group and Iran Marine Facilities Company, said that due to the importance of the joint field Farzad-B Gas and with the aim of speeding up the extraction of the reserves of this joint field, Pars Oil and Gas Company as the main employer and Petropars Group and Marine Facilities Company tried to reach the final signing between the signing of the memorandum and the contract. In line with national interests and with planning, joint interaction and time management, executive works, technical affairs and engineering activities have been promoted and as a result; Currently, a large part of the relevant preparations have been implemented.
It should be noted that since the Farzad-B gas field is shared between Iran and Saudi Arabia, and the Ministry of Petroleum and the National Iranian Oil Company have made accelerating the exploitation of joint fields as one of their most important priorities, the signing of the construction and installation contract The jacket of this field is very important as one of the most complex gas fields in the country, whose development and exploitation requires special technical knowledge and executive skills due to the characteristics of the reservoir.
It is worth mentioning that with the exploitation of the Farzad B gas field development plan, which is being implemented by Petropars Company under the patronage of National Iranian Oil Company and Pars Oil and Gas Company, the country’s gas production capacity will be increased by one billion cubic feet of gas per day.
