He mentioned the increase of the company’s technical score in South Pars region as one of the important honors and said: We were able to get the highest technical score among similar companies. During this period, even the companies that were ahead of us in previous years did not reach 90, while our technical score increased to above 90. This shows the remarkable progress of POMC in the field of operation and project management.
He also announced the receipt of the contractor’s qualification certificate with rank one for the first time after 15 years and said: This certificate was issued in the last month and is the result of continuous efforts and follow-ups of the management and technical team of the company. Also, in the field of human resources, we managed to determine nearly 3,000 labor cases that were left since 2017. This action was carried out during the management period of Mr. Thaghafi and shows our commitment to improve the conditions of human resources and create peace in the work environment.
Therefore, the report of one of the key topics that was considered during Dr. Thaghafi’s visit was the development plans and optimization of POMC infrastructure. It should be mentioned that POMC is one of the companies of Moazzam Petropars Group, which is responsible for setting up and operating a number of large oil and gas refineries in the country. Phase 14 refinery, as the 13th refinery in South Pars, is one of the ongoing projects of this complex, which has played a significant role in its launch and operation.
With the exploitation of this phase, 50 million cubic meters of city gas (methane), 75 thousand barrels of gas condensate and 400 tons of sulfur are produced daily, as well as one million tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and one million tons of ethane to feed petrochemical units. Until now, except for the LPG tanks and the first row of treatment units, almost all the units of the refinery have been set up and put into operation by POMC. . The last unit launched in this refinery is the liquid sulfur production unit, and by using this unit, in addition to the financial income for the production of this product, the environmental pollution of the region is also prevented.
